The Student Diversity & Inclusion Services office exists to support, retain and graduate diverse students, as well as provide the campus community with educational programming related to cultural diversity and social justice. This position functions in public and private ways, serving both as the face of the department to the campus as well as managing the significant behind-the-scenes work necessary for the success of our programs and services. The position works with both internal members of the university community (faculty, staff, and students) as well as external constituents (family members, local outreach organizations, contractors and vendors, etc.). Under minimal supervision, this position performs a variety of routine professional and analytical assignments involving the practical application of management principles and techniques to routine operational activities related to program(s).
