The Clinical Coordinator will operate within a corporate team environment, focusing on daily tasks for the Clinical Operations Department. This position is crucial for providing Retrospective Drug Utilization Review support to both pharmacists and management, requiring the ability to independently produce quality work according to established instructions.

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical pharmacy experience OR 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or PBM setting.
  • 1 year of computer data entry experience.
  • 1 year of Microsoft Office programs experience.
  • 1 year customer service experience including phone experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily tasks for the Clinical Operations Department.
  • Provide Retrospective Drug Utilization Review support to both pharmacists and management.
  • Research information for cases.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Execute other duties requested by management.
  • Independently produce quality work according to written or verbal instructions established by Clinical Operations.
  • Research information needed for Drug Utilization Review cases by contacting prescribers, pharmacies, or researching electronically.
  • Perform data entry of incoming responses from prescribers.
  • Retrieve and triage voicemails.
  • Perform process for undelivered/returned mail.
  • Track data for department processes.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as directed by supervisor and/or manager.
