About The Position

This posting is for a new headcount and is open to new applications. The role is categorized as onsite, meaning the successful candidate is expected to report to the specified location on a full-time basis. Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Experience in manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives.
  • Guides one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers.
  • Supports relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers.
  • Understands and assesses complex supply chain issues and leads teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production.
  • Assesses supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to develop creative solutions.
  • Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership.
  • Handles very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with the goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Analyzes metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Is flexible and at times works extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Problem tackles complete issues and implements new and innovative strategies.
