About The Position

The Coordinator for Student Accountability leads all outreach, education, conflict resolution, and informal resolution efforts on behalf of the Office of Student Accountability. This position manages OSA-affiliated courses and sanctioning programs, coordinates New Student Orientation involvement, and provides conflict resolution and community conflict support for students. The Coordinator plays a central role in educating the campus community about student conduct policies and processes. The Coordinator also supervises the graduate teaching assistant and supports OSA with additional duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, political science, or another related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • At least 2 years of professional work experience in higher education.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, social work, or another related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • At least one year of experience working in or with a student conduct or similar professional area in higher education.
