Walsh Jesuit High School is seeking a Coordinator for Inclusion and Belonging to help with the creation and maintenance of a school culture inspired by the Gospel value of hospitality. As an essential team member in the Office of Mission and Identity, this position reports directly to the Director of Student Formation and Belonging and is responsible for developing and leading initiatives rooted in a spirit of inclusion and belonging while actively supporting the other apostolic works of the Mission Office. The primary responsibilities of the Coordinator for Inclusion and Belonging involve the formation and pastoral care of underrepresented students (40%), direct collaboration with students, faculty and staff to foster a shared spirit of inclusion and belonging throughout the school (40%), and helping to deliver other mission-driven initiatives of the office (20%). The work schedule for this 10+ month position generally mirrors the school’s academic calendar with the expectation that the coordinator also will work approximately 15 days each summer. This summer work includes facilitating and serving as a chaperone on a student immersion or pilgrimage and co-facilitation of retreat leader formation as well as the retreat for new students prior to the start of school.
