Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Esperanza Center is currently seeking a Coordinator, ESOL Program. The ESOL Program Coordinator (AEPC) will coordinate the activities and functions of the ESOL Program. The ESOL Program Coordinator ensures that the students are registered, tested, and appropriately assigned to teachers, that the student data is entered and maintained, that teachers are trained, that curriculum and teaching materials are relevant, that grant reports are prepared, and that student progress and satisfaction are monitored. As needed, the AEPC will represent Esperanza's Educational Services program at conferences and events, provide public education, and serve as a liaison to other educational partners. Duties include adult program staff supervision, teacher training and supervision, student intake and assessment, curriculum development, data management, program outreach, teacher and student recruitment, and overall program operations. The Esperanza Center is a comprehensive immigrant resource center that offers hope and essential services to people who are new to the United States. Immigrants from all over the world have received important resources and compassionate guidance at the Esperanza Center since 1963. Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide services and referrals, ESL education, health care, and free or low-cost immigration legal services to thousands of immigrants each year.
