The Cleveland Charge and Rock Entertainment Group Franchise Properties are looking for a talented Digital Content Coordinator and editor who can help drive engaging and impactful content through the Cleveland Charge digital and social media channels and maintain a professional appearance to team digital communications. The ideal fit for this role is a creative content mind who is a self-starter, is organized, understands the online culture of the sport and keeps a close eye on the evolving trends of social media and video development. The ideal fit recognizes the important role digital content plays in supporting all areas of our business and aspires to grow as a well-rounded marketer. This position’s primary duties will be based in Rocket Arena much of the time with additional mobile coverage and will report to the Director, Marketing and Promotions, Franchise Properties. This role will work closely with creative teams and counterparts in digital content such as, graphic design, Rocket Creative Production, Cavaliers social, and Charge basketball communications on an on-going basis. A focus area for this position will be assisting with content creation as directed by team leads. Content may include social posts, webpages on clevelandcharge.com, graphics, video, e-mail communications, and game coverage. This person will work with existing brand guidelines to create content that fits the brand’s voice and aesthetic. This individual will be relied upon to contribute ideas and best practices relative to the digital space. This position will populate and maintain a digital content calendar for the Cleveland Charge. Another focus of this position will be providing general support for the Marketing team and Communications team and lending similar support as directed for Cleveland Charge initiatives. This person is required to be at all Cleveland Charge home games and work by providing coverage of all road games remotely (no travel required). On game days, this position will be the primary contact for game photographers/videographers and help with media management. Along with working daily with business operations, this role works directly with Charge basketball operations staff frequently. This person must be able to build positive relationships within these spaces while also maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Digital Content Coordinator should be proficient with several creative applications that will be key to the role, including but not limited to Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
