Position Overview:The primary responsibility of the Coordinator - Catering & Conference is to coordinate the day to day needs of Group Catering & Conference Planners to ensure a superlative guest experience for both the Catering & Conference Planner and the Group. They are looked upon to ensure daily postings for assigned groups are accurate and error free. Critical to success in this role is the ability to maintain a high presence/high touch rate on the floor to ensure that groups receive the highest quality experience. This role is a critical component toward building strong relationships with new and repeat clients that create a lasting impression, which will help drive loyalty and repeat business. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
