Requirements

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative or fundraising capacity
  • High proficiency and excellent working knowledge of CRM Database management
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skills
  • Ability to run reports (queries & exports) with ease
  • Donor first attitude with an approachable, comforting and friendly demeanor
  • Team player with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively both within and outside the Community Partnerships team
  • Able to manage multiple projects with various timelines and handle competing and changing priorities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Sound judgement with the ability to make decisions and act

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Frontstream, Funraisin, and Blackbaud Customer Relationship Management will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the Community Partnerships team
  • Maintain relationship database (referred to as KYDs – Blackbaud CRM) for Community Partnerships Team to ensure data integrity and produce standardized reports and database extractions; responsible for tracking solicitation, stewardship activities in KYDS and request mass updates where needed/applicable
  • Set up and administer online fundraising pages (using Givergy and Funraisin platforms)
  • Provide technical assistance for the team and community partners for all of our fundraising platforms
  • Prepare, package and send event supplies, acknowledgement certificates, gift-in-kind and thank you letters on behalf of SickKids Foundation
  • Oversee and manage multiple email accounts and phone numbers
  • Provide exemplary and professional customer service when acting as the point of first contact fielding inquiries from donors, the hospital, and others seeking information regarding event fundraising
  • Prepare donor correspondence and communications to support and cultivate relationships with Community Partners, donors and stakeholders
  • Manage general administrative duties including mass mailings, filing, file maintenance copying AND mail/couriers
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and partners including but not limited to fundraisers, gift administrators, marketing, stewardship and BIIT
  • Perform additional office duties and projects as needed
