Summary: The Coordinator, Board of Governors, coordinates and provides administrative support for governance operations, nominations processes, committee/workgroup activities, and governance-related projects supporting the American College of Surgeons Board of Governors. This role provides administrative and coordination support to Governors, volunteer leaders, specialty societies, and internal stakeholders to ensure governance activities are completed accurately and on schedule. Working under general direction, the Coordinator coordinates governance activities, maintains governance systems and records, prepares communications and meeting materials, tracks nominations and committee activities, and supports governance operations in accordance with established procedures. This position coordinates and supports operational activities, identifies routine process issues for leadership review, and supports the effective administration of governance operations across the College. This exempt position will report to the Senior Manager, Board of Governors in the division of Member Services. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,100 - $64,000 (commensurate with related experience).
