The Coordinator, AOT (Mobile) role involves leading program planning, development, implementation, and monitoring for the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program. This position requires establishing program goals, identifying and solving problems, and monitoring program contracts and budgets to ensure objectives are met. The role also involves acting as a liaison to the probate court, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, and approving assessments and service plans. The Coordinator provides leadership to case managers, leads treatment team meetings, and ensures the delivery of evidence-based treatment for criminal offenders and NGRI consumers. They are responsible for auditing case manager services, maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, and monitoring NGRI charts. The role also includes applying personnel policies, providing effective leadership, and acting as a member of the treatment team. Clinical responsibilities include performing assessments, formulating treatment plans, providing services in the community, and managing crisis situations. Collaboration with treatment team members and outside sources is essential, as is evaluating consumers for discharge planning. The Coordinator also collaborates with the probate court for reports, petitions, and testimony. Application of adult-specific competencies and adherence to professional ethics are required. The role supervises operations, providing clinical leadership, conducting staff meetings, monitoring caseloads and productivity, and ensuring staff competency and quality of services. This includes interviewing, screening, and training applicants, completing performance evaluations, approving treatment plans, and providing consultation and supervision. Coverage during crisis resolution and collaboration with other programs are also part of the role. The Coordinator oversees the diversion project, implementing policies to divert potential petitions, maintaining lists of available staff, and developing data regarding diverted petitions and high-risk consumers. They also maintain data on hearings, complete weekly reports on petition issues and crisis calls, track after-hours crisis calls, and provide alternatives to petitions, including immediate access to treatment. Effective communication with Access to Care staff and collaboration with program supervisors and crisis teams to divert petitions are crucial. The role also involves seeking clinical supervision, accepting feedback, and enhancing clinical skills. Clinical record keeping includes timely, complete, and comprehensive documentation of assessments, treatment plans, services, and case dispositions. Case load management involves meeting productivity standards and demonstrating courteous, respectful, and compassionate attitudes towards consumers and colleagues, respecting privacy and confidentiality, and assisting as needed. Personal values should not inhibit the ability to care for others, and sensitivity to consumers' needs, expectations, and individual differences is important. The role also includes administrative duties, participating in performance improvement activities and committees, completing assigned tasks, accessing community resources, following policies, and maintaining licenses and attending required training.
