About The Position

The Coordinator, Academy Operations executes the day-to-day operations of the Academy, ensuring smooth logistical and administrative execution across all age groups. This role is critical in delivering a high-performance environment by managing scheduling, compliance, and equipment needs for players, families, and staff. The Coordinator supports the overall efficiency and professionalism of the Academy through consistent communication, planning, and collaboration across departments.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience working in an elite sporting environment
Strong understanding of youth player development and the operational needs of an academy setting
Experience with team management platforms (e.g., Teamworks)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex travel, scheduling, and equipment logistics
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute all matchday logistics and on-site operations for RBNY home matches, including team arrivals/departures, locker rooms, field and bench set-up, warm-up areas, hydration, medical spaces, and overall facility readiness.
Lead scheduling and communication of training, matches, and events through Teamworks.
Serve as primary administrative and operational liaison among coaches, staff, players, and families.
Manage all player and staff kit and equipment operations, including sizing, distribution, collection, gear washing, storage, and replenishment to ensure all training, matchday, travel, and event needs are met.
Manage inventory tracking and ordering, maintaining accurate stock levels, monitoring usage and equipment requirements, forecasting future needs, and placing timely orders to ensure essential kit and equipment are always available and aligned with team requirements.
