About The Position
This is a cooperative work and educational program in which the full-time student is either attending school one term and working full-time the next or both attending school and working part-time on a year-round basis. Eligible candidates must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work, and the medical examination must be by one of the physicians designated by the Personnel Board. Appointees must bear the cost of the examination. A person with a disability may request accommodation by contacting the Mobile Civil Service at 251-470-7727.
Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of one year's coursework at a recognized college or university with a C or better grade point average.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a curriculum appropriate to the appointment.
- Provide a copy of the latest transcript after completion of each academic term.
- Maintain at least a C average.
- Provide registration form showing schedule of upcoming term.
