Cooperative Education Student (IT/Computer Majors) (Mobile Area Water and Sewer System) (Part-time)
About The Position
This is a cooperative work and educational program in which the full-time student is either attending school one term and working full-time the next or both attending school and working part-time on a year-round basis. This posting is for a part-time position with the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System and requires current enrollment as a full-time student in an Information Technology or computer-related program. Appointees must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work. The medical examination must be by one of the physicians designated by the Personnel Board. Appointees must bear the cost of the examination. A person with a disability may request accommodation by contacting the Mobile Civil Service at 251-470-7727.
Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of one year's course work at a recognized college or university with a C or better grade point average.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a curriculum appropriate to the appointment.
- Must provide a copy of latest transcript after completion of each academic term.
- Must maintain at least a C average.
- Must provide registration form showing schedule of upcoming term.
