About The Position

The Cooler Technician, reporting to the Cooler Service Supervisor, is responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of cooler equipment. This role involves significant physical activity, including lifting and moving equipment, and requires a strong mechanical aptitude. The technician will work in various environments, including customer locations, and must maintain positive customer relations.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
Driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Able to work in a team environment.
Self-Motivated

Nice To Haves

Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
Plumbing and/or elector/mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Installation, repair, and maintenance of cooler equipment.
Lift and move 50 lbs. multiple times per day.
Move equipment to perform installation, repair or maintenance procedures as needed.
Prepare / set up equipment according to company standards for placement in the trade.
Install equipment in customer locations according to company standards.
Load and unload product from the equipment truck as needed to complete the installation procedure.
Move equipment up or downstairs as needed to complete the installation procedure.
Safely operate company supplied vehicles and maintain vehicles’ cleanliness.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Maintain positive customer relations.
Perform any other duties deemed necessary to continue to keep our company successful.
