About The Position

The Cooler Loadout position is responsible for performing various tasks in the dairy, including operating and maintaining machinery, loading cartons, and making minor adjustments to equipment. The role requires physical stamina to move heavy loads, work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Additionally, the position involves following instructions, performing basic math, and completing daily reports.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass drug screen and physical

Previous dairy experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Performs tasks in dairy, including scrubbing pipe fittings and machines, dismantling and reassembling machines, attaching pipes and fittings, and dumping ingredients into machine hoppers.
Starts and stops machines and equipment.
Loads cartons into machines.
Makes minor adjustments to machines as needed.
Climbs, stoops, crawls, twists, turns, moves objects above and below the head, and walks continually.
Loads and moves stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds or ice cream racks weighing 1,000 pounds for staging and loading of trailers.
Stacks and un-stacks items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back continually.
Works in very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees below zero) environments, as well as wet and humid conditions for extended periods.
Keeps work area safe and clean.
Works in a safe and efficient manner.
Follows written and verbal instructions.
Performs basic mathematics.
Fills out written daily reports.
