About The Position
P. Terry's is hiring cooks, cashiers, and order takers. Crew members should have positive, engaging personalities, communicate clearly through a headset, and show genuine care for the guest experience. Full-time crew members earn $15.00 or more based on experience; full-time employment averages 30 hours per week. P. Terry's states that full-time crew members receive a minimum wage of $15.00 after their first 90 days of full-time employment. Requirements
- Must have a food handler’s permit.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must have a positive, engaging personality and a “yes” mentality toward guests and coworkers.
- Must have the stamina to maintain good energy throughout the shift.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency.
- Work as part of a team.
- For cashier/order taker duties, communicate clearly through a headset and show genuine care for the guest experience.
- Be open to varied work schedules and hours depending on restaurant needs.
- Multitask and maintain good energy throughout the shift.
