Cookie Delivery Driver
About The Position
Insomnia Cookies is seeking Delivery Drivers for its new Grand Prairie, TX bakery. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the "Boots on the ground!" and a primary representative of the Insomnia brand to customers. You will deliver warm cookies, milk, and ice cream to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. In addition to deliveries, you will also assist with in-bakery tasks such as preparing orders, serving guests, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bakery. This role offers job stability with a growing company and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
- Must have a smartphone with data plan
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
- Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery.
- Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
- Work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries.
- Work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels.
- Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

- Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
- Deliver cookies, milk, and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe fashion.
- Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers.
- Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.
- Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
- Ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
- Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries.
- Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
- Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
- Operate the register and process guest transactions.
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
- Work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
- Help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back.
