About The Position

Cooks with food service, restaurant, or healthcare dietary experience look no further and apply for the full-time and part-time Cook position at Lutheran Life Village's Kendallville! The person in this position will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to serve to our members. Ideal candidate is a team player who is able to follow recipes, providing sufficient quantities, and able to clean areas and equipment in the kitchen to the standards set by state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to all sanitary / food service regulations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Weekend, holiday and extended shifts required.

• One year experience as a Cook preferred.
