About The Position

Champions Club is looking for Cooks to join our growing team. As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you’ll prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. You’ll help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation and that yourself and the team are following food storage procedures. This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Food Handler’s Certification
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holiday

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a restaurant preferred
  • Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct
  • Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance/punctuation
  • Ability to maintain top-level performance during high stress situations

Responsibilities

  • Set up stations with all necessary supplies
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and food allergen preferences
  • Follow proper cooking techniques for all dishes
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
  • Practice correct food handling procedures according to company and state regulations
  • Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations
  • Maintain a positive and respectful approach with both customers and fellow employees
  • Report all unsafe working conditions, operational needs, and equipment or aspects of the kitchen in need of repair to management
