About The Position
As a Cook at Piggly Wiggly, you prepare delicious, healthy, and attractive dishes for customers, including hot entrees and items for fresh refrigerated and non-refrigerated display cases. You help maintain the store’s culinary reputation by preparing food efficiently and consistently, following recipes and cooking and delivery instructions, and supporting department goals in a community-centered environment.

Responsibilities

- Help develop and refine standard recipes that comply with company food policies.
- Support department sales, margin, and labor-cost goals through effective preparation and waste management.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area while working safely in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service and help maintain the store’s positive reputation.
