As a Cook, you will perform culinary duties and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area/environment at all times. Prepare food according to specs and stock, and keep the kitchen and all areas clean. Ensure that the food area is kept clean and stored properly at the end of each shift according to health specifications. Ensure that food items are ticketed and dated with the employee's name to ensure freshness and that stocked items are received and accounted for Wash all work areas, including refrigerator and utensils used, and keep trash and boxes are broken down and move them to their proper area. Stock all foods in cooler and proper shelves to meet Department of Health regulations Record and report all lost food due to spoiling and overproduction. Assist in stewarding duties: washing pots, pans, kitchen utensils, serving bowls, serving dishes, and kitchen equipment. Uphold a sanitary, organized, and safe kitchen working area and environment. Help conduct inventory when necessary, especially on high-cost items.
