We're looking for a Line Cook who takes real pride in the plate. You'll prep and cook to our production standards, keep your station clean and organized, and help make sure every guest gets food worth coming back for. In this role, you must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Your shift starts with the basics — check pars, figure out what needs prepping, pull from the freezer, and set up the line. From there it's cooking, keeping up, and keeping things tight. Prep food ahead as requested, without over-prepping past what we actually need. Date and rotate all food containers per our standards, and keep perishables at the right temperatures. Flag any out-of-stock items or shortages before they become a problem. Return unused items to their storage areas at shift end — covered and dated. Help control food waste, loss, and usage, and pitch in on fixing food cost issues when they come up. Receive and unpack deliveries from vendors, date everything, and put it away to department standards. Break down boxes and take trash to the dumpster. Prep and make ice cream for the Sweet Ice Cream Shop. Learn the property's system for scheduled shifts. Keep supplies inventoried and at par. Help the Kitchen Manager with the monthly food audit. Know the facility's hours and other details guests ask about. Take on whatever else your supervisor needs.
