About The Position
TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Cook to join their community. This role involves preparing hot and cold menu items, working on various stations including the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line. The Cook will ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to the menu cycle and standardized recipes, and will be responsible for tasting and preparing food to determine quality and palatability. The position is for the 2nd Shift, with hours from 11 AM to 7 PM, and requires working every other weekend.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required
- Great organizational skills a must
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required
- Must be able to work weekends
