About The Position

3 positions that will work in the Lake View Lounge back of house cooking menu items along with prep work and in the Strada will primarily be a cook but will also serve in customer service functions like preparing pizzas, pasta bowls, & interacting with guests. Performs a variety of food preparation activities and related tasks according to quality and safety standards in dining, venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals.

Requirements

• 3 months of work experience

Responsibilities

• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
• Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
• Greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities
• Trains and guides student workers

Benefits

• Differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday $.80 per hours is added.
• Differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am an addition $2.50 per hour added.
