About The Position
Ian's Pizza is hiring a part-time Cook to join their team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role involves learning all aspects of pizza making, from hand-stretching dough to topping and baking. Cooks will also be responsible for food preparation and assisting in maintaining the overall smooth operation of the kitchen and restaurant. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring a willingness to hustle, but with a supportive team and a fun atmosphere.
Requirements
- Team player with effort and good vibes
- Able to stand, walk, and be on feet for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
- Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other restaurant equipment
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures
- Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments
- Must be 18+ years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Evening and weekend availability is required
