About The Position

The Gardens at Orangeville is seeking a Cook for our skilled nursing facility in Orangeville, PA. The Cook will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures, ensuring residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one (1) year of dining services experience in a healthcare or related setting preferred
Culinary training preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve all meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements
Plan food production to coordinate with meal service schedules
Understand and follow menu items, portion sizes, and plate presentation standards
Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
