About The Position

Merakey is seeking a PRN Cook to join their Adult Behavioral Health program in York, PA. This role is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for 18-25 residents in the Extended Acute Care (EAC) program, which provides therapeutic support for individuals with chronic mental health conditions. While formal culinary training is not required, experience cooking for large groups is essential. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a team-oriented setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience cooking and serving large groups of up to 25 people

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook three meals and two snacks daily for residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
