About The Position
Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. It is located on a picturesque, 96 acre campus in south Kansas City (near Longview Lake) providing serenity, beauty and privacy to assist with the healing process. For more than 120 years we've cared for the emotional health of Kansas City's children and families. Today we offer one of the area's most comprehensive behavioral health care programs. And we are backed by the complete resources of Saint Luke's Health System. We are currently seeking a PRN Cook. This position is responsible for the active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including but not limited to preparation delivery or service to customers. Workflow includes set up food preparation clean up and sanitation of work areas dishes wares or equipment inventory control product rotation proper labeling and safe food handling practices. Is accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available Either 5:45-2:15 or 10a-6:30PM, 1-2 days per week.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year applicable experience.
- Food Handlers Permit
Responsibilities
- Preparation, delivery, or service to customers.
- Set up food preparation.
- Clean up and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares, or equipment.
- Inventory control.
- Product rotation.
- Proper labeling and safe food handling practices.
- Accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available.
