The Cook plays a vital role in providing nutritious, appealing meals that support the health and recovery of our patients and staff. You’ll prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to approved menus and production sheets, ensuring quality, safety, and satisfaction for every meal served. The Cook is responsible for the following: Prepare and serve meals for patients and staff following approved menu cycles and production sheets. Ensure all meals meet portion, taste, and presentation standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies. Assist with food preparation for special dietary needs and requests. Collaborate with the Dietary Aides and Nutrition team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
