About The Position

This role involves preparing a variety of food items using different cooking methods such as sautéing, broiling, frying, baking, and grilling. The cook will operate various kitchen equipment and ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate. Maintaining a sanitary and organized work area, adhering to safety and health codes, and demonstrating proper care of tools and equipment are key responsibilities. The cook must also possess competent product knowledge, prepare food according to standard recipes, and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare, sauté, broil, fry, bake, and grill food items.
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, broiler, oven, and French top.
  • Skill in performing preliminary preparation work.
  • Ability to ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate.
  • Capability to move items from shelves to carts and transport them to assigned stations.
  • Knowledge of maintaining required part of food items in assigned station.
  • Understanding of maintaining a sanitary and organized work area.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and health codes and regulations.
  • Ability to ensure assigned areas are clean and free of debris.
  • Demonstrated proper care, storage, use, and cleaning of all tools and equipment.
  • Competent product knowledge including correct storing and handling of perishables.
  • Ability to prepare food products according to standard recipes and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills with team members.
  • Willingness to assist with other job-related duties.

  • Demonstrate proper care, storage, use, and cleaning of all tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrate competent product knowledge by correctly storing and handling all perishables.
  • Prepare food products according to standard recipes and specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members.
  • Assist with any other job-related duties that may be assigned.
