If you love working with seniors, enjoy creating beautiful, delicious meals with your hands, and want your work to truly matter — this is the job for you. You’ll be preparing and cooking meals for senior living residents, ensuring food is delicious and visually appealing, and plating and presenting meals with care and pride. You will also follow menu standards while maintaining flexibility for special diets, maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen, and work closely with your team to ensure smooth meal service. You will interact respectfully and kindly with residents and staff. You’re not just cooking — you’re helping create meaningful moments around the table.
Requirements
- Holds a current Food Handler’s Permit
- Has experience in senior living, hospitality, or the restaurant industry
- Has a customer-focused mindset
- Loves working with seniors (this is essential)
- Takes pride in food presentation and quality
- Brings positive energy and a team-player attitude
- Works well in a fast-paced kitchen
- Is dependable and punctual
- Can lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Understands and adheres to all local and state food safety regulations
- Maintains a clean, sanitary work environment
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Treats others with kindness and respect
