About The Position

We're hiring an experienced Cook for an immediate opening in a hospital food service department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a long-term position for the right person.

Requirements

• Previous professional Cook experience REQUIRED
• High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
• Able to follow recipes and production sheets
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Must be available to start ASAP

Nice To Haves

• Hospital, healthcare, university, corporate dining, or institutional cooking experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and guests
• Follow recipes, menus, portion sizes, and production sheets
• Work grill, sauté, oven, prep, and other kitchen stations
• Prepare food for high-volume meal periods
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation
• Assist with prep, stocking, and other kitchen duties as needed
