About The Position

The job goal is to prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site. This role also involves assisting in other food preparation duties as directed, maintaining facilities in a clean and sanitary condition, and training and providing work direction to others.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with parents, students and faculty
• Demonstrated people skills to indicate ability to function in a team oriented environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year experience in cooking and baking food in large quantities
• Complete training course for certification of beginning school food service personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
