Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting (required)
• Ability to follow recipes and manage dietary needs

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required; willingness to obtain as needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily dishes based on established menus while honoring individual dietary needs
• Produce and plate both planned menu offerings and on‑demand meal requests
• Maintain strict sanitation and handling standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment
• Contribute to keeping the workspace clean, orderly, and running smoothly
• Work cooperatively with the dietary staff in a supportive, team‑focused atmosphere
• Help foster a welcoming, pleasant mealtime experience for all residents
