About The Position

Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a per diem Cook to provide food for patients, employees, and visitors. The Cook prepares food while following strict safety standards, creates menus, and orders supplies for the hospital kitchen and cafeteria. The role integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice. The position pays $19 per hour and is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Food Handlers License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent education or experience required.
• Knowledge of patient diets, safe food handling requirements, and use of the Nutritional Care Manual.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
