About The Position

Brandywine Living is seeking a per diem Cook to join its dining team and help create memorable dining experiences for residents. The role involves food preparation, including full-line menu items and special diets, in a caring residential setting. The associate should be compassionate and patient, communicate effectively, and demonstrate sound organization, time management, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The position pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• One year of job-related experience, including food preparation, full-line menu items, and special diets.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Competent organizational and time-management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Compassion, patience, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Certified culinary degree preferred.
