As an On-Call employee, you are required to pick up two shifts per month and be willing to cover leaves. Applicant must be able to pick up both shifts; 5:30am-2:00pm and 11:00am-7:30pm Set on 14 acres in a residential area of Roseville, this community offers skilled nursing care in two types of settings—long-term living “neighborhoods” and short term rehab for shorter stays aimed at rehabilitation and recovery. Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations strong desired.
Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
