About The Position

Purpose To serve guests by providing them with a superior food product along with quick, friendly, and superior service.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following: -Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for: -Making observations -Communicating with others -Reading and writing

Responsibilities

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and to guest satisfaction
  • Food preparation and portioning prior to service
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Properly pack, plate, and present all menu items
  • Properly hold and store all foods
  • Take out trash/Sweep and mop floors
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Must follow the guidelines stated in grooming standards policy
  • Communicate openly, timely, and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress, and problems.
  • Always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude
