About The Position

This role is responsible for managing a unit towards achieving sales and profit goals, operating within the company's values and policies. The Shift Supervisor/Key Holder assists the General Manager in effectively running the store and directly supervises a team of 15-50 employees. The position requires working lunch, dinner, and weekends, monitoring food and service quality, purchasing supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized restaurant environment. Key responsibilities include training team members, executing daily systems, maintaining accurate records, operating according to manuals, supervising and motivating staff, understanding equipment maintenance, upholding service standards through leadership, adhering to grooming and uniform policies, open communication, and ensuring new team members develop a strong work ethic. The role also involves fostering excitement and a positive attitude, maintaining flexibility, assisting in the interviewing process, and always being approachable and coachable. A cellphone with active service and reliable transportation are required for job duties such as bank runs and travel between company locations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for increasing sales by providing outstanding product and service.
  • Providing team members with the appropriate and effective training.
  • Work lunch, dinner and weekends, monitoring quality of food and service.
  • Purchase food, beverages and supplies as needed and oversee their preparation to ensure that every product served meets our high standards of product quality.
  • Execute all systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant prepared to deliver quality food and excellent guest service.
  • Utilize all management tools to keep neat, accurate and current records providing the Historical data plan for increased sales and profit.
  • Operate in accordance with the established performance, profits and operating standards as set out in the operation manuals.
  • Supervise and motivate Team Members to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
  • Have a good working knowledge of all equipment which includes proper actions for all maintenance issues and maintaining duties on the monthly list of a unit.
  • Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating leadership by example.
  • Must be in compliance with Harrdy, LLC manager grooming standards & uniform policy.
  • Communicate openly, timely and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
  • Perform such other duties as directed by Management and the Training Manager.
  • To ensure that all team members are fully knowledgeable of the policies and procedures by constantly asking questions, testing and monitoring their performance and giving timely feedback.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all new team members develop a strong work ethic.
  • Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude and commitment toward company objectives. Create and Encore Environment.
