About The Position

The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas. WC Health provides patients with comprehensive and integrated health care focused on behavioral health. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team. Our wrap-around services include medical, housing, pharmacy, transportation, case management and mental health services.

Requirements

• Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
• Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three months experience in a food service area.
• Active Serve Safe Food Handler certification.
• Active Food Handler Safety Training Card.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• 2 Step TB test.
• Work Physical.
• Fingerprints (Background Check).

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the serving and preparation of food.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures.
• Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen.
• Cleans and checks service equipment.
• Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities.
• Assists in moving and storing supplies.
