About The Position
Cook needed for school food service in the Caldwell West Caldwell, NJ area. This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position with hours from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm. Enjoy no weekends or holidays and have summers off! The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment and able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
Requirements
- Cooking experience required
- Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe® certification a plus
- K-12 cooking experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold meals
- Follow menus and recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
- Adhere to all safety and food handling procedures
- Use of personal protective equipment at all times
