About The Position

The Advocate Center is the state-of-the-art training facility and headquarters for the Chicago Bulls. Located in Chicago’s West Loop, the facility supports the team’s performance, recovery, and nutrition needs with top-tier amenities and personalized service. The Cook is overseeing a designated kitchen area. This role is responsible for preparing ingredients, executing recipes, and ensuring kitchen standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related culinary experience or training.
  • Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and solve routine problems.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food preparation in a specific production area.
  • Follow production sheets and standardized recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Determine quantities and manage ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety and sanitation are maintained throughout all areas, but not limited to the dish area, front of house and kitchen.
  • Promote and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
  • Ensure accurate temperature recording and data sheets to comply with Levy & local safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the chef team.
