About The Position

Join our AWARD WINNING team at Valley View Care Center National Quality SILVER Award Winners! Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience are provided at all times. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
ServSafe certified
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
May assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
