About The Position

As a Hospitalist Physician at Corewell Health West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. The Hospitalists cover both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals. Requirements

• BE/BC Internal Medicine Residency
• License – Michigan MD/DO
• Certification – BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Certification – ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Responsibilities

• Manage acute medical conditions, including admissions, discharges, and rounding.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and case reviews.
• Mentor medical residents and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
