About The Position

Hilltop Community Resources is a multi-faceted non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. This role is responsible for preparing nutritional and attractive meals for residents at The Commons, ensuring adherence to health regulations and company values.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Three to six months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Colorado Identification Card.
Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop’s values (Service 1 and Service 2).
Complete basic meal specials, daily prep cooking duties, basic soups, sauces, and desserts from scratch to specifications.
Prepare and plate meal orders utilizing proper food handling and presentation.
Follow all Mesa County and Colorado Department of Health regulations for proper food handling, including temperature logs and sanitizing.
Ensure food and supplies are at correct temperature and condition upon receipt; rotate and stock supplies.
Assist with catering duties as needed.
Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safely storing dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and bus tubs.
Deep clean, sweep, and mop as assigned.
Inspect and maintain proper chemicals for the dishwasher.
