About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Grand Junction, CO. Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Work in a team environment
- Work flexible shifts
- Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
- Serv-Safe and food handlers certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
- Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
