About The Position

Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living/Small House and Independent Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking a Cook for Part Time. Pay is based on relevant experience from resume. Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of professional Cook/Chef experience.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Cook experience for Healthcare environment ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Dietary Director, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food; and ensure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
• Prepare meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures.
