About The Position
Juniper Communities is an innovative senior living community that believes in nurturing the spirit of life. This role assists the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in the preparation of meals and provides excellent customer service. We are looking for culinarians who want to serve their communities by providing their expertise in Senior Living.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma and experience in culinary arts or food service.
- MUST BE Servsafe certified.
- Knowledge of volume food preparation.
- Knowledge and ability to operate food service equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in following recipes and cooking from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
- Follow recipes.
- Cook from scratch.
- Assist in the coordination of effective communication among dining team and resident assistants.
- Work closely with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing in the planning and implementation of special events.
- Maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
- Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.
