About The Position

Grass Clippings Rolling Hills, located in Tempe, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Glenrosa Restaurant brings authentic Sonoran cuisine to life in a stunningly renovated space at Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills in Tempe, Arizona. We’re assembling a dedicated team to create an unforgettable dining experience—where bold flavors, genuine hospitality, and a lively atmosphere come together.

Requirements

• 1-3 months of related experience in a professional kitchen or equivalent training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training/Certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• We're also willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for food!

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and production plans, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Utilize whole food products efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing flavor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Alert the chef or supervisor promptly about any equipment malfunctions, food overages, or shortages.
• Requisition inventory and receive supplies as needed for daily production.
• Ensure proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures.
